Companies have limited time, money and people. ASTC’s accounting services are designed to make the work faster, easier and less expensive, so you can focus on your core business.

Your challenges — and how we address them
| Challenge | How ASTC addresses it |
|---|---|
| Staffing shortage and lack of expertise | An experienced team, trained to a common standard on joining |
| Insufficient working practices and approach | A standardised six-step process, operated on the ASTC EMS platform |
| Excessive cost and low efficiency | Economies of scale make our process more cost-effective than an in-house function |
| No time to resolve disagreements with the tax authorities | We represent you and handle the explanation process |
| Accounting files and data stored insecurely | Cloud storage with centralised administration, data-loss prevention and automatic backup |
Our six-step accounting process
Step 1 — Acceptance of a new client
We survey the client’s site, agree the scope of services and build a plan together with the Board of Directors and the accounting department.
Step 2 — Understanding the client, creating the accounting database
- Understand the client’s business operations and transactions
- Set up a voucher system in line with the selected accounting regime
- Build a chart of accounts that meets both regulatory and management needs
- Support software selection: explain the hardware and software options, advise on the most suitable one, install it and train the client’s staff to use it
Step 3 — Recording accounting books under the 5S approach
- Analyse and classify transactions: quantify in monetary terms, identify the accounts affected and whether they are debited or credited
- Record each transaction in the appropriate journal in chronological order
- Prepare and print vouchers and accounting books in accordance with prevailing accounting and tax law
- Provide guidance on storing vouchers and files
Step 4 — Periodic tax declarations
- Monthly/quarterly VAT returns
- Quarterly provisional corporate income tax filings
- Monthly/quarterly personal income tax declarations
- Quarterly reports on invoice usage
- Liaison with the tax authorities on request
- Appeals against unfavourable treatment
Step 5 — Closing, finalisation and printing of books
- Compile the financial statements
- Prepare the annual CIT finalisation
- Prepare the annual PIT finalisation
- Prepare and submit statistical reports
- Print the accounting books
Step 6 — Ongoing assistance
Answer tax and accounting questions, and advise the company on its transactions as they arise.
The 5S approach applied to accounting
| S | How we apply it |
|---|---|
| Sort | Analyse and classify transactions, documents and information received; keep what is relevant and remove what is not |
| Set in order | Data and documents are labelled and stored systematically in chronological order for fast retrieval |
| Standardize | Standards and expectations are communicated consistently; all staff are trained for a seamless service experience |
| Sustain | The tidy, clean state of the files is maintained continuously |
| Self-discipline | Active engagement, habits formed through repetition, and commitment to deadlines |
Cloud storage
Files, data and communications are kept on a cloud platform with centralised administration, data-loss prevention and compliance-grade retention tooling. Your data is protected and backed up automatically.
Professional note: client data is confidential information. ASTC applies role-based access control and activity logging across all client files.
