Our four-step process
Step 1 — Gather information
Getting a solid grasp of your business comes first. We request a copy of your Enterprise Registration Certificate / Investment Registration Certificate to understand your sector, and work with your legal representative to understand your operating process and core strategy.
Step 2 — Set up a tax system that meets compliance requirements
- Define the taxes relevant to the company’s operations
- Set up the tax declaration and tax information system
- File the business licence fee declaration and pay the fee on your behalf
- Assist in obtaining the digital signature / token
- Submit the initial tax documents and notifications required by the tax office
Step 3 — Comply during operations
Compliance obligations differ by tax type, but the same principles apply throughout:
- Collect the relevant documents and information
- Advise on the best compliance approach that also captures available lawful advantages
- Prepare the tax returns and compliance filings as prescribed by law
- Pay taxes due on your behalf, with your consent (where applicable)
Step 4 — Deal with the tax authorities
Where an unclear tax issue requires communication between you and the tax office, we bridge the gap and raise the matter in writing on your behalf to obtain appropriate guidance.
Tax inspection is a routine function of the tax authorities. We review your current position and advise on how to avoid adverse outcomes and minimise any additional liability.
Timeline and deliverables
Tax obligations arise periodically depending on the tax type, and consist of filing returns and paying tax due (if any). Ahead of each deadline, we present the required documents for your approval at least two working days in advance.
Professional note: filing and payment deadlines, rates and penalties are set out in the Law on Tax Administration and its guiding documents, and change over time. For any specific tax period, the legislation in force at that time must be verified.
